The Avenida Fontes Pereira Melo 25 is a historically significant building designed by the Portuguese architect Cassiano Branco. one of the main architects of the Modernist period in Portugal. Built before 1950, its unique “cone” tower has been keeping watch over the transformation and growth in Lisbon for decades. At the base of the building, you will find a handy new supermarket with its own bakery, that closes at 11pm — convenient for last minute needs. Avenida da Liberdade is less than a 10 minutes walk away with its many haute couture boutiques and some of the best restaurants in town. The apartment also has a parking place in the nearby Picoas Plaza parking building, a 2 minutes walk away.
